Senior Cloud Engineer

Full-Time · Accra, Ghana (On-Site)

Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud architectures and Infrastructure as Code for enterprise clients across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Write, test, and deploy Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Implement GitOps deployment workflows using tools such as ArgoCD, Flux, or Spinnaker to enable continuous delivery to Kubernetes clusters.
  • Configure secure networking, strict IAM policies, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), including service mesh technologies like Istio, Linkerd, or Consul.
  • Enforce policy-as-code guardrails using frameworks such as OPA/Rego, HashiCorp Sentinel, or Checkov to prevent misconfigurations before deployment.
  • Build observability and monitoring stacks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Conduct architectural audits to identify security vulnerabilities and reduce cloud compute costs using FinOps tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or Kubecost.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of cloud engineering and architecture experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one IaC tool (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc.) and CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Active cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional (or equivalent).
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalent) and at least one GitOps or continuous-delivery framework.
  • A strict security-first mindset, with experience in cloud compliance guardrails and policy-as-code enforcement.
